“my name is ozymandias, king of kings: look on my works, ye mighty and despair.”

“Blind is his love, and best befits the dark”

Both Shakespeare and Shelley use lambic pentameter to show that both the poem and the play have the same rythem, which is always there just like fate. Just like Romeo and Juliet in the play fate was always there even through they went there own way, but it still ended the way fate decided it to. This can be shown by a quote from the play ‘blind is his love, and best befits the dark’, and in the poem ‘my name is ozymandias king of kings: look on my works, ye mighty and despair’.
