He uses metaphors to describe whats going on in the play like, The end of the scene as they make their way to the party, Benvolio tries to hurry them along, thinking that they will be late…However, Romeo has concerns about going at all. “I fear, too early. For my mind misgives some consequence, yet hanging in the stars, shall bitterly begin this fearful date with this night’s revels and expire the term of a despised life, closed in my breast, by some vile forfeit of untimely death”. In the movie, Baz Luhrmann uses the pathetic fallacy, like when Mercutio dies and Romeo lays over him and  there was thunder and lighting at same time as he does it. To show that there was a emotional event going on in the scene of the movie.

Shakespeare uses a lot of complexes English in he’s write like metaphors and hidden happenings in the play when in prologue it’s tell you what’s going to happen in the play.”From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, a pair of star crossed lovers take their life.” As we all know, Romeo and Juliet is a tragic story of romance. Romeo and Juliet’s death was a result of many misfortunes, but they were mostly victims of the society in which they lived, malignant fate, and their own passions. Thus, fate is undoubtedly the most responsible influence for the couple’s heartbreaking tragedy.
