The death of candy’s dog as a sacrifice foreshadowing that another character will be sacrificed. In the end Lennie gets killed by George because George saying how life would be much easier without him so he killed him. By shooting in head like candy dog got shot.
They had walked in single file down the path, and even in the open one stayed behind the other. Both were dressed in denim trousers and in denim coats with brass buttons. Both wore black, shapeless hats and both carried tight blanket rolls slung over their shoulders. This is where George and Lennie first get introduced in the book.
“I was only foolin’, George. I don’t want no ketchup. I wouldn’t eat no ketchup if it was right here beside me. If it was here, you could have some. But I wouldn’t eat none, George. I’d leave it all for you. You could cover your beans with it and I wouldn’t touch none of it. Lennie try’s he best to look after George.

My friend jake had to choose between a dog or a cat and he chose a dog because he loved dogs. But he the dog he got was naughty. The dog ate all of there cloths and shoes and did a poo on the floor. So they had to get rid of it

Crooks is a man that is crippled and lives in a little shack and with houses which shows he is treated like an animal just because he is black. Evan he was little his family owned a business and then went you work on the ranch and he got kicked in the back by a horse. Which left him with a cripple back ( all ways leaning forward ). We first hear about crooks when candy describes him ‘ George patted a wrinkle out of his bed and sat down.
